In this project, my collaborators and I explored the role experiential learning has in teaching students critical psychological concepts (e.g., self-control and leadership). We designed and created a course outline for students that strongly emphasized incorporating role-play exercises to teach students how to apply psychological research to their own lives and the workplace. We found that these role-play exercises impacted the quality of presentations that students created and presented to outside employers. This work was presented at the Society for Personality and Social Psychology - Applied Research Pre-conference.
