In this project, my collaborators and I designed and created a course curriculum to look at how we can use problem-based learning activities to improve student’s writing performance. These problem-based learning activities that we created can be used in both online and offline settings and are used to improve students’ negotiation and leadership skills. We found that these exercises significantly increased student’s usage of words associated with analytical thinking in writing tasks across multiple assignments. This work was presented at the Society of Industrial/Organization Psychology. Full paper can be found here.
